The list of technical specifications is one of several important documents produced by a web development project. These technical specifications will describe the background for and the purpose of the solution, needs that must be met and the technical limitations to the project.

The technical specifications usually lay the foundation for a round of bids from suppliers. Before you make your list of technical specifications, you must think carefully about which functions you need - both now and later.
